Mountain Planet 2026: Innovation for Ticketing and Access Control in the Mountains

What is Mountain Planet 2026 and when will it take place

Mountain Planet is the International Mountain Development Trade Show, a biennial event founded in 1974. Its goal is to bring together professionals involved in the development, management and modernisation of mountain areas. The 2026 edition will run from 21 to 23 April at the Alpexpo exhibition centre in Grenoble. Over the years, this centre has become an international reference point for mountain industry operators.

Over the three days of the event, exhibitors and visitors will be able to discuss a wide range of topics. These include infrastructure for ski resorts, four-season outdoor solutions, mobility, tourism, security and digital technologies. The show combines an extensive exhibition area with conferences, workshops and networking opportunities. In short, it’s an ideal place to discover innovations and build new business partnerships.

Innovation, data and user experience

The evolution of ALFI’s solutions is guided by clear principles: digitalisation, integration and a focus on user experience. For instance, by collecting and analysing the data generated by access systems, operators can better understand flows and get to know customer behaviour. As a result, they can design more effective, personalised services.
