Stadia-specific applicationsFor us access control means not just ski lifts, in fact Stadia-specific applications is where most development effort is focused.
The requirements introduced with the decree Pisanu of June 6th 2005 concern both safety-related issues and the knowledge of the number of people attending every single sport event. In particular, this new regulation requires to electronically check all tickets at outdoor sport facilities with attendance capacity in excess to ten thousands. In addition, everyone is required to enter the sport facility through gates that ensure precise and rigorous controls of all people.
The stadium Meazza in Milan, among the main Italian stadia, will use the technology developed by Alfi to comply to these recent regulations.
Full height turnstiles equipped with both barcode and RFId readers will allow stewards and the police to make controls easily and people will be able to access the stadium quickly and safely.
Main characteristics
- Turnstiles are completely independent and able to operated under black-out conditions.
- Stainless steel structure allows to use turnstiles in outdoor applications.
- Each gate may be entered by one and just one person at a time; this allow both stewards and the police to make easier and precise controls on everyone that attempt to enter.
- Managing and checking the flow of incoming people entering the gates is easy and effective thanks to bright and vocal message signaling devices available for both spectators and the stadium personnel
- Every single turnstile is enabled to communicate with a central system; this ensures both a correct synchronization of all data imputed and precise, real time visibility of people inside the stadium as well as where they should sat.
- Readers devices are so called, but in fact they can read both RFId and barcode-type tickets and write on the chip inside RFId tickets in contactless manner, i.e. with no contact taking place between reader device and ticket. We guaranteed full compatibility ISO 14443-A, ISO 14443-B and ISO 15693 standard to allow the user of the system to choose the type of tickets that they prefer.
- Full anti pass-back functions.
- RSA-based security algorithms (asymmetrical cryptography) and encoding based on the transponder’s read-only number ensure top security from counterfeiting.
