In 1962 while in their late 20s Gianni Colombo and Giovanni Ippolito found Ages and invented the first electronically operated hosiery machine.
Since then an intense set of activities in the electronic sector began, focused to manufacture highly innovative technological products.
Among our achievements it is worth mentioning:
► The first ticketing and electronic access control system applied to ski lifts
► The first European presence detection and access control applications based on optical technology (Bank of Italy, Alfa Romeo motor company, ...)
► The first Italian applications of industrial terminals (all Fiat and Alfa Romeo motor company production sites: over 1500 terminals at the assembly lines)
► Special terminal, cards readers and markers used for train cars management at Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State owned Railroads)
► Production of thousand of O.E.M. terminals for Olivetti, Honeywell, ...
